Billionaire businessman Frank Stronach is facing new charges related to sex-related offenses dating back decades, in addition to those previously filed earlier this month. The case continues to unfold with increased legal implications.
Frank Stronach, the 91-year-old founder of Magna International, has been arrested again by Peel Regional Police.
He faces six new charges, including sexual assault, attempted rape, and indecent assault on a female.

Additional victims have been identified, although specific details of the allegations have not been disclosed. Earlier in June, Stronach was initially charged with rape, indecent assault, forcible confinement, and sexual assault.
Court documents relating to the charges against Frank Stronach allege that he sexually assaulted three complainants in incidents dating back to the 1980s in Toronto and Aurora, Ontario.
Stronach’s lawyer, Brian Greenspan, stated that his client denies these new allegations dating back to 1977 and intends to vigorously defend himself.
Despite the legal challenges, Stronach plans to continue his advocacy efforts benefiting Canadian businesses and the economy.
“He has spent his lifetime committed to the betterment of the Canadian community and industry,” he wrote in a statement.
Before the additional charges were filed against him, Frank Stronach was scheduled to appear at a courthouse in Brampton, Ontario, on July 8.

Born in Austria, he achieved significant wealth by founding Magna in 1957, starting from his garage, which grew into a global auto parts supplier. Stronach also established The Stronach Group, known for horse racing, and in 2018, Stronach International, focusing on organic foods and micro-electric mobility.
In 2011, he stepped down as Magna’s chairman and subsequently founded a political party in Austria in 2012.
