Trish Stratus, one of the most iconic superstars in WWE history, is being touted as a possible contender to face Bayley, the reigning WWE Women’s Champion, at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view event. At 48 years old, Stratus might make a heroic return to the squared circle to challenge the eight-time champion.

Stratus has a long-standing history with the WWE, and her possible return would be a nostalgic spectacle for fans of the sport. Bayley, who is currently without a challenger for the Money in the Bank event, would certainly relish the opportunity to face the renowned Stratus, who is known for her electrifying performances in the ring.

The idea of Stratus taking on Bayley is intriguing, especially considering the connection they share. Bayley would be eager to compete against someone she admired in her youth, and Stratus, a heel, would be looking to capitalize on the champion’s weaknesses. This match would undoubtedly be a spectacle, with both superstars putting their skills to the test.

However, one question that remains unanswered is whether Stratus has enough time to train for Money in the Bank. Her last appearance in a wrestling match was at Payback 2023 against Becky Lynch, which raises concerns about her readiness to return to the ring. Nevertheless, Stratus herself has reassured fans that she is always prepared to step into the ring.

Speaking during a Q&A session for Going Ringside, Stratus was asked about retirement, to which she replied, “Retirement? What is retirement? I’m not familiar with this word. I don’t know anything about this word. We just stay ready. That’s a general statement that we (Trish & Lita) like to live by, just in case.” This response suggests that Stratus is always prepared to face new challenges and opponents, and is not deterred by the prospect of retirement.

Fans would undoubtedly love to see Stratus return to the WWE ring, and her readiness to do so is a promising sign. With her competitive spirit and electrifying performances, it would be a shame to see her sit out for an extended period. Hopefully, WWE will take notice of her enthusiasm and give her the opportunity to make a heroic return at Money in the Bank.
