Morgan and Mysterio have been involved in a storyline since Rhea Ripley’s latest injury. Morgan won the Women’s World Championship at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event, and successfully defended it the next week on RAW against Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage Match.
On Instagram, McDonagh reacted to Morgan’s Father’s Day post to Mysterio. He wrote, “Jesus Christ, Liv please.” Matt Camp has questioned the timing of the storyline, stating that it is a “weird” time to do this kind of storyline.
