In the latest WWE news, NXT Superstar Javier Bernal suffered a serious injury, breaking his foot in multiple places. This unfortunate incident might keep him out of action for up to six months. Bernal confirmed the injury on Twitch, revealing the possibility of undergoing surgery, which could extend his recovery time significantly. Despite this setback, he remains optimistic about his return to the ring, having last competed on NXT Level Up and previously appearing on SmackDown.

Randy Orton, in a recent conversation withWrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, expressed doubt about his record as the youngest World Heavyweight Champion being broken. Orton, who won the title at 24, feels the circumstances surrounding his victory were unique and unlikely to be replicated soon. Surprisingly, NXT’s Je’Von Evans accepted Orton’s challenge, aiming to surpass Orton’s record by becoming the youngest world champion at just 20 years old.

On another front, reports suggest that WWE star Ricochet is considering leaving the company upon the expiration of his contract this summer. Speculation about his departure has been fueled by his intention to exit WWE and the likelihood of being written out of ongoing storylines. Ricochet, a prominent figure on WWE RAW since 2018, could potentially attract significant interest as a free agent if he decides to depart.

Following a recent episode of SmackDown, Andrade emerged victorious against Ricochet, claiming the WWE Speed Championship. This title change marked an end to Ricochet’s reign as the inaugural Speed Champion. Moreover, Bianca Belair shared her thoughts on Becky Lynch’s departure from WWE due to an expired contract, emphasizing her support for Lynch’s decisions. Belair acknowledged Lynch’s influence on her career and expressed optimism about Lynch’s future in wrestling, foreseeing her eventual induction into the Hall of Fame. As speculation swirls around Lynch’s next move, Belair remains focused on her current endeavors, including defending the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Jade Cargill at WWE Clash at the Castle on June 15.
