Zelina Vega recently found herself transitioning to Monday Night RAW alongside WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and the rest of the Latino World Order following the WWE Draft. The move also involved Carlito, who seemed to depart from the group shortly after. One notable consequence of this shift, as highlighted by Vega, is her newfound distance from backstage interviewer Kayla Braxton.
During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Vega candidly shared her sentiments about Kayla, stating, “Who?” and expressing her annoyance with the numerous individuals hastily asking questions after a brief stint in journalism school. She emphasized feeling relieved to no longer have to deal with that dynamic, emphasizing the positive aspect of the situation.
The tensions between Latino World Order and Santos Escobar’s Legado Del Fantasma remain unresolved, although it seems the creative team will not be pursuing this narrative further as Santos remains on SmackDown. Initially scheduled for RAW, matches featuring Rey Mysterio against Kofi Kingston and Zelina Vega against Shayna Baszler have been relocated to WWE Live Events. These matches serve as qualifiers for the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring tournament.
In other WWE news, Rey Mysterio, at 49, has reiterated his intention to retire upon reaching the age of 50. Despite this, he hinted at the possibility of extending his career due to his robust health. Speculation surrounds the unresolved issues between Rey and his son, Dominik Mysterio, who have faced off in the ring multiple times, with Dominik facing defeat on both occasions. Rey has expressed a desire to retire following a special Lucha Libre match against his son, under a specific condition.
