The Ancient Magus’ Bride Has New Trailer For His Roe Revealed
On the official website of The Ancient Magus’ Bride franchise’s upcoming OVA project, which will be titled The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Nishi no Shounen to Seiran no Kishi, a new promotional video has been released for their first release, as well as two new voice cast members, which include Hiromi Igarashi as Gabriel and Aoi Ichikawa as a “mystery box”.
The project is titled The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Nishi no Shounen to Seiran no Kishi and will feature an original story written by the author himself. It will be included in the special editions of the sixteenth to eighteenth volumes of the work, the first being scheduled for the next 10th of September.
In 2019 a play inspired by the work was announced that would be performed at the OWL SPOT theater in East Ikebukuro in Tokyo, Japan. A poster accompanied the announcement featuring the cast of Haruka Kudo as Chise Hatori, Naotaka Kamino as Elias Ainsworth, and Yukito Nishii as Joseph.
The work won an animation in 2017 of 24 episodes. Animation is by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan), directed by Norihiro Naganuma (Yowamushi Pedal), and character design by Hirotaka Katō (director of the animation for Empire of Corpses).

The manga The Ancient Magus’ Bride, written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki, started being serialized by Comic Garden in 2013. In 2016, the work began to have OVAs available, which serve as a kind of prequel to the series. The TV anime was produced by Wit Studio, the same studio responsible for the OVAs.
