Horizon Hero Dawn’s PC port is still getting updates to fix bugs which will make the game even more stable. The game was released awhile ago and there are still bugs in the game and it was even worst when the game first launched. There were many insane bugs in the game previously there was some issue with Aloy’s hair when running above 30 frames per second.
In the recent patch, there are some graphical improvements and repairing other reported instances of the game crashing. The developers Guerrilla Games are still trying to solve the issue with the PS version of Horizon Zero Dawn and has urged players to provide their feedback on any other bugs that they may encounter. Players can report these bugs on the official website.
In Patch 1.04, the devs have fixed a crash in NetPresenceManager which some players experienced when entering the game or the benchmark from the main menu. There was an issue where the Steam SDK would crash on initialization during the game executable was started directly from the installation folder rather than through Steam. There was an issue where a crash occurred when the player pressed ‘Stop’ in Steam immediately after pressing ‘Play.’ The startup crabs when using Avast antivirus has been fixed and along with a crash that occurred when VRAM was about to be oversubscribed. These fixes are welcomed by everyone but there are still more of them in the graphical department.

The Issue with the game when it wouldn’t run in the correct resolution when switching from windowed to fullscreen is fixed now. Now there is a new option for turn off “blurry sidebars” in resolutions and display black sidebars now. Players will now be able to boot the game even if the windows version used is detected to be too low to run the game in a stable condition. There is now an option to turn off controller vibration/rumble.
There was a problem with storing the ‘permission to track data’ attribute of the player profile that has been fixed which previously asked for that permission. They also fixed an issue that happened when the opening cutscene music would not play and if the player quits out, it would immediately begin a new game. Lastly, fixed an issue in which inverting mouse controls also affected dialog tree choice input
