Cyberpunk 2077 release is drawing closer and closer. The developers are getting ready and unveiling many new things about the game which increases the hype for the game even more. Recently, the devs talked about the post-game content plans which according to them will be released very soon. This was said by the president of CD Projekt, Adam Kiciński, who said it this week that Cyberpunk would follow a similar DLC plan to The Wild Hunt. He told the investor during a conference call that Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC would be revealed before the game’s release on 19 November.
He said, “Yes, you can expect a similar path [to The Witcher 3] after release,” he said. “You can expect more, actually. We’re not going into too many details today, but everything will be clear before release. As we are close to the release, expect the post-release plans to be revealed fairly soon; a series of free DLCs and expansions will be described – as I said, you can expect it fairly soon and then everything will be made clear.” These DLC will have more than two full story expansions and 16 DLC packs then The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which was released in May of 2015.
The Witcher 3 upon its release had an amazing DLC calendar as it had two free DLC drop every week for two months following the game’s release. These DLC packs had five new quests, new weapons and armor sets, cosmetics, and a New Game + mode. There were also two-story expansions called Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine which were revealed many weeks before The Witcher 3. All of these DLC were amazing which added even more things to the content-packed world of the Witcher 3. But aside from DLCs, there is also a multiplayer mode planned for Cyberpunk 2077 which will be arriving before 2022.
The game won’t be facing any more delays and it will definitely be releasing in November of this year. A lot of resources have going into making Cyberpunk which is around $121 Million dollars which is quite a big amount. This was reported by Tweak Town during a corporate report in which it was told that they have spent over 448.513 PLN ($121 million) developing Cyberpunk 2077 which includes some other unannounced projects. This even includes the multiplayer mode that is coming to Cyberpunk 2077 and the new Witcher game which was announced recently. Furthermore, the spending on game projects has gone up 77% which is 111 million PLN in the first half of 2020 because of the delay of the game mainly.
Cyberpunk 2077 hype is going strong and in some time the marketing of the game will most likely begin to increase the hype even more. With the track record of the company, the fans trust them and many of them might have already bought the pre-order for the game. Cyberpunk 2077 will to release on 19 November 19 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In that month Call of Duty Black Ops, Cold War will be released as well as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
