In the latest episode of WWE RAW, the issues within Alpha Academy have escalated as Sami Zayn persists in attempting to separate Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa from Chad Gable. After Zayn lost a non-title match against Otis lasting just over a minute, Gable attacked Zayn and ordered Otis to follow, but Otis refused. This led to Otis confronting Sami and unleashing his anger. Following the event, Otis shared a heartbreaking personal message on X, paying tribute to his late sister, Kari.
Otis and Kari shared a strong bond despite their half-sibling relationship and the loss of his sister in 2012 was a challenging time for him. Reminiscing about her love for heavy metal, Otis posted a throwback Christmas photo with his sister and wrote, “MISS YOU SISSY 😘 Not a Day goes By I don’t think about yee Only Person I know that Had to get new set of speakers 🔊 in her room every month from constantly havin her Heavy Metal BLASTIN’ Babe I LOVE YOU SISSY – Baby Brother Niko.”

In January 2023, Otis announced the passing of his mother and was inundated with tributes from fellow professional wrestlers. Amidst the Alpha Academy turmoil, wrestling fans are keen to see WWE make a full-fledged babyface turn with Otis.
Legendary figure Bill Apter discussed Alpha Academy on Wrestling’s Legion of RAW and predicted that Otis may leave Chad Gable. Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa are set to be in attendance during WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. At the Premium Live Event, Gable will face Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship once again.
