The Comeback Journey of Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre

Jinder Mahal recently announced his departure from WWE, following in the footsteps of several others. In a surprising turn of events, Mahal declared that he actually quit the company. Responding to a heartfelt message from his former 3MB stablemate Drew McIntyre on social media, Mahal simply posted, “Comeback Kingz 👑.”

Looking back at their careers, both Mahal and McIntyre faced challenges after their initial stints with WWE. From 2012 to 2014, they were part of the underutilized trio 3MB alongside Heath Slater. Despite being mainly used for enhancement purposes and enduring numerous losses on WWE TV, their determination eventually paid off.

After being released by WWE in 2014, Jinder Mahal honed his skills in various promotions for two years before making a triumphant return to WWE in 2016. His hard work culminated in a significant push, leading to a memorable WWE Championship victory over Randy Orton at Backlash 2017.

Similarly, Drew McIntyre faced his share of setbacks when he was let go by WWE in 2014 before being rehired in 2017. By early 2020, McIntyre’s career soared as he won the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and triumphed over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to claim the WWE Championship. However, his celebration was short-lived as an altercation with CM Punk and a subsequent cash-in by Damian Priest changed the course of events.

The future holds uncertainty for The Modern Day Maharaja, but one thing is certain – both Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre have proven their resilience and talent in the ever-evolving world of professional wrestling.
