Donald Trump at NCAA Wrestling Championship

Trump’s Appearance At NCAA Wrestling Championship Final, Celebrated With Loud Cheers

As President Donald Trump arrived at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the NCAA wrestling championship, he was met with overwhelming applause and chants of “USA! USA!” from the crowd.

In a video shared on X by the official Rapid Response account for the White House, the crowd’s cheers could be clearly heard as Trump entered the arena. He was seen shaking hands with several attendees and waving to the audience.

Breitbart News’s Dylan Gwinn previously noted that, ahead of Trump’s attendance at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) wrestling championships, “two of the sport’s biggest stars” had expressed their enthusiasm about his presence at the event.

Penn State wrestling standout Carter Starocci told that Trump had attended the nationals during his sophomore year, calling the experience “really cool.”

Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson also shared his thoughts with the outlet, expressing excitement about performing in front of Trump.

“We’re going to put on a good show for him,” Steveson said. “Him showing up Saturday night, he’s coming to watch some of the best wrestling on earth, and we’re going to give that to him.”

It was reported that Elon Musk and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) were also present at the NCAA wrestling championships alongside Trump. Additionally, Pennsylvania Sen. Dave McCormick (R) and his wife were in attendance at the event.
