Myleene Klass’s Politics are Music to Her Ears

Myleene Klass, the winner of the first Legends version of I’m A Celebrity…, has revealed that becoming an MP is on her list, but she is unwilling to reveal for which party she would support. The former Hear’Say singer turned radio presenter and businesswoman has been approached by both the Conservatives and Labour, but has not committed to either. Klass, 45, has been passionate about women’s health issues and is currently advocating for a change to the Women’s Health Strategy in the British Parliament. She has personally experienced the pain of miscarriage and is determined to ensure that women receive adequate support and care.

As she navigates the “utterly painful” process of trying to back the change to the strategy, Klass remains resolute in her dedication to the cause. The strategy aims to ensure that women do not have to suffer up to three miscarriages before receiving help, an issue that is deeply personal to Klass. She has been pregnant seven times and has three children, and she is determined to ensure that her daughters do not have to experience the same pain she has.

Klass has already made an impact in the House of Commons, having previously lambasted then-Labour leader Ed Miliband on TV in 2014 over the proposed mansion tax. Her comments led then-prime minister David Cameron to mock Labour, saying that Klass had “given Miliband a pasting from a pop star.” Despite her own political leanings, Klass remains focused on her advocacy work and refuses to reveal how she would vote, saying instead that she is a fan of people who “get things done.” With her charisma and determination, Klass is unlikely to remain on the sidelines for long, and it remains to be seen what political path she will ultimately choose.
