National Investigation Agency

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched a massive operation on Friday, conducting searches at three locations in Gujarat and Maharashtra to uncover a vast conspiracy involving espionage and terrorist violence. The investigation, which began last year, was sparked by the discovery of sensitive information about the Indian Navy being leaked and is believed to have links to Pakistan.

According to the NIA, two charge sheets have already been filed against three accused, including a Pakistani national, and another against two accused, including an absconding Pakistani national. The agency has recovered a vast amount of material evidence, including mobile phones, documents, and other records, which are being examined to identify more links in the case.

The case, originally filed by the Counter Intelligence Cell, Andhra Pradesh, on January 12, 2021, is still under investigation. The NIA is continuing to scrutinize the seized materials to uncover more connections and bring those involved to justice. The agency has also filed two charge sheets against three accused, including a Pakistani national, and another against two accused, including an absconding Pakistani national.

The investigation has revealed that Pakistani nationals had collaborated with the arrested accused in the espionage racket. The NIA is working to unravel the web of espionage and conspiracy, which is believed to have been designed to unleash terrorist violence in India.

In another significant development, the NIA conducted searches in the Naxal-infested regions of Chhattisgarh in connection with a CPI (Maoist) arrest and arms recovery case. The agency searched six premises in the remote villages of Mujalgondi, Kalmuchche, Amabeda, and Jiwalamari in Kanker district and seized several mobile phones, a printer, and cash amounting to Rs 39,100. The investigation is ongoing, and the NIA is working to uncover the extent of the conspiracy and bring those involved to justice.

The NIA is continuing to investigate the case, and officials are working around the clock to gather evidence and track down those involved. The agency is also working to identify the extent of the conspiracy and to bring those responsible to justice.
