Damian Priest experienced an injury scare during his match against Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle. While attempting a high-risk springboard, Priest’s ankle got caught between the ropes, causing fear for his condition. Despite this, he continued the match and finished it, although visibly limping.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the injury was not as severe as initially thought, and it was a “miracle” that it did not turn out worse. Triple H, WWE’s Head of Creative, also commented on the injury scare during the post-show conference, stating that it made his heart jump out of his chest and that Priest’s adrenaline might have been carrying him through.

Triple H expressed hope that when he left the conference, he would receive good news about Priest’s condition. Fans are left waiting to find out the severity of the injury and will have to tune into Monday Night RAW to hear from Priest himself.

The match between Priest and McIntyre was intense, and despite the injury scare, it ended with Priest retaining his World Heavyweight Championship. However, McIntyre did not leave unscathed, as CM Punk’s interference caused his defeat. The match was memorable for the outcome and the injury scare that occurred.
