In a recent Instagram post, Brandi Rhodes, wife of Cody Rhodes and former WWE and AEW star, shared a personal update about her health journey. Rhodes, who was diagnosed with stage four endometriosis, underwent surgery to remove the damage caused by the disease.
Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing severe internal pain, bloating, and other issues, particularly during pregnancy. In Rhodes’ case, doctors informed her that she would always experience pain due to the disease.
Despite the challenges, Rhodes found hope in former Divas Champion Maryse, who also dealt with health issues. Rhodes underwent a two-and-a-half-hour procedure to extract the damage, and she expressed her gratitude for finally being heard and receiving the necessary treatment.
In her Instagram update, Rhodes mentioned that she was still not back to normal but was working towards regaining her previous strength. She acknowledged that her muscles had depleted a bit, but her determination to recover is clear.
Fans have been following Rhodes’ journey, admiring her resilience and determination to regain her health. Though the process has not been easy, Rhodes’ dedication to overcoming her health challenges is evident.
