WWE Superstar Cora Jade is currently on a hiatus due to an unfortunate injury. The 23-year-old recently showcased her new look on social media, sporting a blonde highlight at the front of her hair. Jade’s new look was revealed through her Instagram stories, where she posted a Boomerang of herself sitting in a car, wearing a black cap.
In January, Cora Jade tore her ACL during a championship match against the then-NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria at a live event. She had to undergo surgery and is currently on the road to recovery, with a reported seven to eight months of absence from the ring.
Before joining WWE, Cora Jade made a name for herself on the independent scene. She appeared in several promotions, including TNA and AEW, before moving to WWE in 2021. Jade expressed her gratitude for her time in the indies, as it helped her get to WWE. She wanted to experience the indie scene, similar to several top superstars like CM Punk, Jon Moxley, and Daniel Bryan. However, she emphasized that WWE was always her ultimate goal.
Jade’s time in the indies allowed her to learn valuable lessons and work with different people, contributing to her growth as a wrestler. Despite her injury setbacks, Cora Jade remains optimistic and continues her recovery. Fans eagerly await her return to the ring and the new experiences she will bring as a WWE Superstar.
