Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, made a splash on NXT with a major announcement. After his appearance on the show, Rhodes took to Twitter to express his desire to experience the “magic” of NXT and thanked the locker room and USA Network for having him.
Rhodes announced that General Manager Ava had granted him the authority to choose his next opponent, who will be determined through a 25-man Battle Royal in next week’s NXT.

In addition to his NXT announcement, Rhodes recently shared on WHAS11 that he wishes he had a better relationship with former WWE Champion AJ Styles. Rhodes mentioned that he looked up to Styles during his run in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Fans speculate that Styles may dethrone Rhodes at Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, setting up a match for SummerSlam. With anticipation building for Rhodes’ future in the WWE, it will be intriguing to see what the company has in store for the American Nightmare.
