The final WWE RAW before Clash at the Castle had its share of ups and downs. With a title match on the line, the event was exciting, despite some noticeable shortcomings. The build-up to the Premium Live Event was generally well-done, with a hint of a significant betrayal happening this Saturday.
One of the standout storylines was the Alpha Academy, where Otis referenced his past and how Chad Gable saved him. However, this could be a spoiler for Clash at the Castle, implying that Gable might fail to win the Intercontinental Championship again. Not putting the IC Title on Gable would be a huge mistake, considering his impressive heel work lately.

In another match, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn lost a tag team match against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. This outcome did not help build up Fyre and Dawn as credible challengers for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the Judgment Day’s six-man tag team match achieved a few things. Dominik Mysterio returned to the ring, and Dragon Lee won the match for the babyfaces. Additionally, Liv Morgan’s title reign is being remembered despite the issues with Judgment Day. It seems that Morgan’s next feud might be with Zelina Vega, who stopped an intimate moment between Morgan and Mysterio.
