Wrestling veteran Bin Hamin recently expressed his views on WWE Superstar Kevin Owens, advocating for a significant change to benefit his well-being. Owens entered the World Wrestling Entertainment scene in December 2014 and swiftly rose to fame by clinching the NXT Championship against Sami Zayn within two months of his debut. Transitioning to the main roster in 2015, KO achieved numerous accolades, securing titles like the Universal Championship, Intercontinental Title, United States Title, and Undisputed Tag Team Championship.
During a segment on Vince Russo’s The Brand podcast, Bin Hamin suggested that WWE had initiated a rehabilitation program for Owens due to his current peak physical condition. Hamin noted his belief that Owens should shed more weight, pointing out the former Universal Champion’s struggles in this area.
He remarked, “I think Kevin Owens is getting it [rehab for weight loss] because this was probably close to one of the best in-shape Kevin Owens we’ve had. I hope he can drop his last 20 or 30 pounds because I know he struggles with it.”
In a contrasting scenario, Kevin Owens showered praise on fellow WWE Champion Randy Orton during an episode of WWE’s The Bump. Owens expressed admiration for Orton, whom he had respected since his early days as an aspiring wrestler. He emphasized Orton’s role as a role model for younger talents within the locker room, highlighting the respect and love shown towards The Apex Predator.
