Drew McIntyre, the new World Heavyweight Champion, quickly lost the title to Damian Priest after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract. In an interview with Metro, former WWE star Elias disclosed that he had conceived the idea of “The Messiah of RAW” for himself. Elias expressed that despite his efforts, the concept was taken from him and given to Seth Rollins and The AOP.

Elias shared his creative process, mentioning his idea for the “Monday Might Messiah” character, which he believed could have been remarkable for him. He pointed out that the concept ended up with Seth Rollins and The AOP instead. Elias envisioned himself as a cult leader on RAW and harbored no ill feelings towards Seth Rollins, acknowledging his greatness. Former WWE writer Vince Russo weighed in on Seth Rollins’ title reign, expressing his belief that the World Heavyweight Championship was forced upon him, impacting his tenure. Russo highlighted that the title felt inferior compared to the Undisputed WWE Championship, reflecting on the challenges faced by Rollins during his reign.
