In an interview with PWInsider, he addressed the question of considering leaving WWE, emphasizing his unwavering dedication to the company and dismissing any thoughts of pursuing opportunities elsewhere. McIntyre expressed that WWE is where he truly envisions his wrestling career and firmly stated, “I don’t want to be anywhere else.”

During a challenging period in his personal life, Drew McIntyre took a hiatus from television in 2023 following the loss of his wife’s sister.
