Ronda Rousey Upset Over WWE Segment Changes

Ronda Rousey, known as The Baddest Woman on the Planet, recently expressed her discontent with WWE for cutting down her segment on TV to give more screen time to The Bloodline. The former WWE star left the company after her “MMA Rules” match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023. In her autobiography, Rousey shared her frustration when WWE scheduled two segments involving The Bloodline and Seth Rollins, leading to her segment with Baszler being reduced.

Ronda Rousey’s Opinion on The Bloodline’s Segment Planning

During a conversation with Rick Ucchino earlier this year, Ronda Rousey voiced her concerns about Roman Reigns’ faction, The Bloodline, being allowed to plan segments in advance while she was not granted the same privilege.

She highlighted the disparity by stating, “The Bloodline is able to plan things out a year ahead of time, and they won’t even talk to me until I get to the arena.” Rousey emphasized the importance of time, resources, and preparation in delivering a stellar performance, pointing out the support given to others like Logan Paul in rehearsals and resources that she felt were lacking for the female wrestlers.

Ronda Rousey’s debut match in WWE paired her with the wrestling veteran Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team match. The match was lauded as the highlight of the night, earning praise from the WWE Universe for the exceptional performance showcased by all four competitors.
