Following another successful title defense against Chad Gable, Zayn’s wife was once again shown in the crowd. However, the post-match events took a turn when Gable turned heel and attacked Zayn in the presence of his wife.

In an interview with Gorilla Position, Zayn explained his reluctance to have his wife featured on WWE television. He expressed concerns about the harsh criticism often seen on social media and wanted to shield her from such negativity, emphasizing that she did not sign up for that kind of exposure.
Meanwhile, former WWE writer Vince Russo criticized the conclusion of Zayn’s recent match on RAW against Bronson Reed. Russo questioned the disqualification ending, where Chad Gable interfered, despite having no direct involvement with Reed. Russo suggested that the match should have been thrown out by the referee instead.
