After a non-televised wrestling event in Vienna, Austria, WWE RAW Superstar Damian Priest took to social media to connect with his fans. The show, a precursor to the Backlash event in France, brought together top stars from RAW and SmackDown, featuring Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Gunther, and more.

Priest, the current World Heavyweight Champion, participated in a six-man tag team match alongside Finn Balor and JD McDonagh against Awesome Truth and Jey Uso. Despite their efforts, Priest’s team faced defeat. He reassured fans of his championship status on Instagram post-show.

Trending on social media, Priest’s post from Italy showcased his journey as “El Campeón” with the hashtags #AllRise and #LiveForever, capturing the attention of his followers.

Ahead of WWE Backlash, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan predicted a tough match for Priest against Jey Uso in France. Speculation arose about a potential face-off with Drew McIntyre in Glasgow if Priest defends his title successfully.

On the Gigantic Pop podcast, Morgan voiced his belief in McIntyre’s dominance in the upcoming bout. He anticipated McIntyre claiming the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle, drawing parallels to historic wrestling narratives like Bret Hart’s legacy in Canada.

As the wrestling world awaits Priest’s next move, the spotlight remains on his resilience and ability to maintain his position within the company leading into Backlash, promising an intriguing storyline for fans to follow.
