WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H recently expressed openness to the idea of taking WrestleMania global, breaking away from the tradition of hosting the event solely in the United States and Canada. During a recent appearance at the Sports Business Journal’s Congress of Sports in Los Angeles, WWE President Nick Khan mentioned that major events like Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series are not planning to go international in the near future. However, London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan has shown interest in bringing WrestleMania to London.

Triple H, in a conversation on X/Twitter Space, highlighted the global appeal of professional wrestling and welcomed other leaders to express interest in hosting WWE events. He emphasized the company’s willingness to explore opportunities worldwide. Referring to the Mayor of London’s statement, Triple H stated, “If they want WWE, come talk to us. We’re open for business. We’d love to be there.”

The creative changes under Triple H’s leadership have been noticeable in WWE programming and storytelling. Referee Charles Robinson commended the positive direction the wrestling promotion is taking under the new regime. He likened the current era to the Attitude Era, noting an edgier tone and boundary-pushing language in the product.

The 2023 edition of WrestleMania, known as The Showcase of the Immortals, was held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Although Minneapolis was initially favored, Las Vegas has emerged as a strong contender to host WrestleMania 41. The possibility of expanding WrestleMania to venues outside the USA and Canada has sparked discussion among fans. The evolving terrain of WWE events suggests a potential shift towards a more globally inclusive approach.
