Ronda Rousey recently made headlines by declaring her firm decision never to return to WWE, accompanied by sharp criticism directed at the longstanding figurehead of the organization, Vince McMahon. Despite her vehement disapproval of McMahon, she managed to maintain amicable relationships with two significant personalities within the WWE sphere.

In a recent segment of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer delved into Rousey’s scathing remarks aimed at Vince McMahon within her published book. Meltzer highlighted that Rousey’s discontent towards McMahon had been public knowledge, tracing back to her tweet referencing Bruce Prichard as McMahon’s representative. Another source close to the situation revealed that Ronda Rousey perceived WWE’s culture as misogynistic and departed from the company with a strong aversion towards Vince McMahon, yet retaining positive connections with Stephanie McMahon and expressing admiration for Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Rousey’s comments revolving around Bruce Prichard and Vince McMahon stirred significant attention, particularly due to her vocalization about Prichard’s role as McMahon’s right-hand man. She pointed out that Prichard’s continued presence signified McMahon’s influence in the company, even during periods where he appeared less active. Rousey’s tweet on the matter outlined her sentiments: “Bruce Prichard is basically Vince’s avatar, if he’s still around Vince still has a hand in the business. Vince was still running things through Bruce when he was ‘gone’ before.”

Following Rousey’s accusations, it was disclosed that Bruce Prichard would undergo a tricep surgery, prompting speculations about the timing of the procedure. Former WWE writer Vince Russo raised suspicions regarding the surgery’s timing, aligning with Rousey’s assertions. Russo emphasized the unlikelihood of a key figure like Prichard taking leave during WrestleMania, the pinnacle of WWE’s annual activities, reinforcing Rousey’s claims and questioning the circumstances surrounding Prichard’s absence during such a crucial period.
