Milwaukee Bucks’ wing Khris Middleton expressed his anticipation of returning to action for Sunday afternoon’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns, having been sidelined for over a month due to a left ankle sprain.
Middleton confirmed his comeback plan to reporters following Bucks practice on Saturday.
The former All-Star sustained the sprain during a game against the Suns on February 6, causing him to miss a total of 24 games throughout the season.
As the Bucks gear up for Sunday’s game, they find themselves in a competitive battle with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the coveted No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference standings.
Despite his absence, Middleton, aged 32, has maintained productivity during his playing time this season, averaging nearly 15 points and 5 assists in 26.3 minutes, with an impressive shooting percentage of 48.7% from the field.
