Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo made his return to the court for the Milwaukee Bucks’ matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
Antetokounmpo had missed the Bucks’ previous game against the LA Clippers on Monday due to a left Achilles injury.
However, he took part in shootaround and his usual pregame routine before Wednesday’s game without any issues.
Coach Doc Rivers confirmed that Antetokounmpo had been given the green light to play without any restrictions.
“There’s really no minutes restrictions, but we want to be smart tonight for sure,” Rivers stated before tip-off.
Antetokounmpo, who has been averaging 30.8 points on a career-high 61.9% shooting in 59 games this season, returned to bolster the Bucks’ lineup.
Despite his absence on Monday, the Bucks managed to extend their winning streak to six games, marking their longest run of victories since Rivers assumed coaching duties in January.
