After successfully running four seasons, the Netflix drama series ‘Lucifer’ is back again with “Lucifer Season 5” to capture their audience. The trailer to the same was out on 11th July 2020 and it immediately became a hit. In fact, the trailer intentionally or intentionally also leaked a spoiler which might be a twist to the upcoming season. A new character was also visible in the uploaded trailer. Some critics were of the opinion that unveiling a secret might not interest the audience further when the show is officially released. Joe Henderson, the show’s co-runner, put down all those statements saying that the surprising twist about Michael is not such a big deal as compared to what all things the show has to display.
Joe even said that they did a lot of brainstorming before agreeing upon what to reveal to the viewers in the trailer. In fact he along with Idly Modrovich who is a co-runner to the show wanted their fans to come upon with their own theories leaving them wondering about the same as to what will happen in season 5. ‘Lucifer’ is actually adapted from the character of DC comics which was created by Neil Gaiman for the comic series The Sandman. The basic outline of the character is that the Devil has left his abode that is Hell. After leaving Hell, he has now shifted his housing to one of the most iconic cities on earth; Los Angeles (L.A.)
Lucifer Season 5 – What to expect
This series had its first run down on Fox, streaming service in the year 2016. It smoothly ran for three seasons long before it was called upon a closed down.It was Netflix that discovered the series and in fact, found it attractive for its extended two seasons after season 3. Before season 5 came out, it was declared that this will be the finale of this fantasy series. But with the current fandom that it holds, the lead actors along with the showrunners agreed upon season 6.
The most awaited plotline between Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German) about confessing their feelings towards one another was explored at the end of season 4. However, a twist is displayed when it becomes necessary for Lucifer to walk back to Hell in order to protect the planet from divination.
As it is rightly said, that as and when the devil has a stroll down on earth and he finds his ultimate love, that is when evil will be released.
This cliff hanger was perfect for keeping their audience tuned for the following season. In spite of returning back to hell, Lucifer ultimately had to come back to earth in season 5 but this time as a character of his own twin brother the Archangel Michael with a declaration that he will acquire the Lucifer life-style. Lucifer season 5 is out on Netflix so have you streamed it yet?
